Coffee is slightly similar to most cooked products, it does contain trace amounts (Parts Per Billion) of carcinogens/toxins due to the the roasting process, but darker roasted coffee's contain almost no carcinogens because they are almost all roasted out during the longer roasting process. In other words, almost all cooked food products such as toast, cook read meat, cola, baked goods, and other common produce contain very small amounts of carcinogens/toxins that may cause cancer, birth defects, and other reproductive harm. These carcinogens/toxins arise from the cooking process or the specific ingredients the products are made of. And coffee does fall under this category. This Statement is in accordance with Proposition 65.
